So my cow has gone to it's new permenant home. I'm still waiting to hear feed back from the buyer, but I've gotten alot of possitive comments from all who have seen it. I was actually kind of sad after giving him up to the buyer, kind of an "empty nest" feeling. I'm not a cow fan, lord knows that after growing up raising calves and knowing how annoying they can be at 5am I'd rather not have one, but this little painting kind of made me happy when I looked at it. Maybe it was because it didn't moo for it's milk at 5am... Yeah that's prolly it.
On that note, the orchids are finished as well, and are spending some quality drying time in my basement. I'm very pleased to say that i found a buyer for them as well, and they will be leaving me near the end of the month. It's a good thing, because I need the room for my new projects.
New Projects!! The Skull is kind of on the back burner for now, As I have a few other commitments to fulfill. I've gotten a nice underpainting done on a Rottweiler portrait for a good friend, I'm laying in the underpainting of "Gypsy Fire" and I must say I'm loving it!! I'm trying to narrow a time down to collect a canvas to do a collabritive piece with my good friend Jeremy(AKA Absinthephotography).
And I'm gonna be starting yet another Orchid piece from a lovely photo that I took of my very own plant. Exciting times ahead!!
Stay Tuned!!

Time's so near you can almost taste the freedom. There's a warm wind from the south.
Hoist the sail and we'll be gone,by morning this will all seem like a dream.
