This oil makes me happy, it was one of the quickest paintings I've done, but I love the simplistiy. I feel like I caputed the fire of the Arabian horse fairly well, having owned and loved arabians since I was young. I love the warmth of the color palet, and realized this is the first painting I've done in warm tones.. everything eles is usualy in cool tones.
This was completed on a 28X30 canvas. the original has been sold, but may be availible for prints. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
